IN COLOUR PALETTES WITH VANNI

A few weeks ago we went on a discovery of the ‘seasons’ and of the colour palettes that are ideal for each. Together we learned to accentuate some of our featuresmore than others, helping us to stand out by playing to our strengths and steering clear of the hues that do us no favours.

Today we are continuing our adventure through the different palettes, concentrating on the cool, subtle tones of the summer profile to find the ideal match between the shapes and colours of our VANNI glasses and our naturalfacial structure and complexion.

Last week Martina Strazzer came for a visit, and the session with our expert Beatrice Baronti left no room for doubt: Martina is a splendid light summer with some characteristics that allow her to “steal” colours from the spring palette.

Martina has strong cool undertones, which contrast with the warm overtones provided by her lovely freckles; characteristics celebrated by the colour combos and the avant-garde designs of the newest VANNI Highline styles.

Yes to pastels and to light and neutral-cool nuances: mint green, light pink, andgrey are all perfect; no to contrasts that are too bright, and to orange. The new exclusive VANNI Blade style in green reflects the light and makes Martina’s icy blue eyes shine. Meanwhile, the glitter detail concealed within the frame of the VANNI Remaster adds a play of sparkle and contrast to Martina’s face that lets us know we’ve definitely found the right style!

We then go on to explore the shapes of the glasses, which should always be inversely proportional to the shape of the face. Small dimensions make a big impression in the VANNI Sun line, and it’s impossible to go wrong with the gorgeous crystal faceting of the VANNI Sparks collection.

Characteristics completely different from the first session some time ago-- are there more winters or summers among you?
